I have just normal gnarly toes and it's still embarrassing to show them. I find joy in identifying with you about the human conditiion.

Your description is so funny! I've been thinking I need to go pamper myself and have my nails done. I slammed a sliding door on my fingers January in Hawaii. By the time I got back up to the condo I thought for sure I was going to either throw up or pass out. I survived but thought for sure I was going to lose that one fingernail or I had broken my fingers. But that area on my fingernail is now at the top and will be cut off soon. I was lucky. As for the small joys - so many of them but right now watching the flowers starting to bloom.

Oh, what pleasure! I have bright red polish on my toes. My feet have held up better than most of my other parts, so I like to draw attention to them.

Who knew I could get my toenails done and Medicare would pay for it? 🤷🏻‍♂️

No toenail day at this abode, all were removed a number of years ago due to terrible fungus. It’s kinda nice not having to worry about trimming them as I get older V Thompson

That sounds painful. 😣

It was very painful but so worth getting rid of black flaky nails
